Distance Studies

Certificate in Foundations of Rudolf Steiner Education

This Part Time Distance Education Course is primarily designed to provide teachers with the philosophical basis necessary to support teaching in a Rudolf Steiner school.  It provides an understanding of the basis of the Steiner educational curriculum together with a rich program of inner development based on artistic practice and observation.

It is open to all who are interested in working in Steiner education.  Graduates of the Certificate in Foundations of Rudolf Steiner Education will have the beginnings of the professional standing necessary to sustain the quality of teaching expected by Steiner Schools. Modules are written in a weekly format and while providing a broad understanding there is an emphasis on experience and application through  artistic  exercises, observation, readings, research tasks with journal entries and essays.  All modules have assessment.

Experienced Tutors are available by phone or email for student contact.
